Mike Hobbs

Passionate about space, Mike develops space and merchandising solutions to differentiate businesses from their competitors and to increase growth and profitability. Formally European Director of Store Planning for Staples, Mike has headed Space and Merchandising teams for Alpha Retail, Sainsbury's and Duracell prior to advising many of the major High Street's retailers on their Space strategies.

Mike gained first hand experience working in various positions within Boots The Chemist from the sales floor to Head Office operational roles. In the year 2000 Mike started Still Visual Merchandising, a small VM consultancy whose success has seen Mike and his team working on various projects with key retailers at home and abroad including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Safeway, Boots, M&S, Tchibo and Argos.
